SCANDI SWEETS

Scandi Sweets is a fictional chocolate brand that was inspired by my Scandinavian heritage. My family is part Norwegian, and my grandmother used to live in Norway. She wrote a book about her time there and travels to other Scandinavian countries with my grandfather. The book is something my family cherishes dearly after their passing.

I have always wanted to travel to Scandinavian countries after reading my grandmother’s book. She wrote about how much beauty and history there is. I decided to focus on the voyages of the Vikings because my family always makes jokes about us being Vikings, and I wanted the brand to be a “bean-to-bar” chocolate company. All the cocoa beans to create the bars are to be voyaged by the creators themselves.
