INTERNSHIP SPRING 2022

BRINGING HOPE HOME

Bringing Hope Home (BHH) is a local non-profit in the greater Philadelphia area. BHH’s mission of providing unexpected amazingness through financial and emotional support for families battling cancer was very personal to me. Philanthropy is a big part of my life, and being able to be a part of one behind the scenes was really an eye-opening experience.

My experience in the internship was filled with a multitude of learning opportunities. Not only did I learn a lot about marketing, but I also gained experience in other areas in my field when it came to analytics, budgeting, and event planning.

Below are examples of an event I helped plan: The 21st Annual Great Guys Dinner and marketing assets I designed, wrote, and shot.

Using Canva, Illustrator, and InDesign, I created many static social media posts for Bringing Hope Home. All of these posts are intended to promote a different message to the target audience about Bringing Hope Home. I also wrote the copy for all the social media posts I created.

Above is the story I wrote about Connie, a cancer survivor, whom I interviewed while interning at BHH. This was a spotlight story and is on the BHH website.

Above is the social media content calendar for BHH. This screenshot shows the posts that were scheduled on Hootsuite for March.

The above mockup is an example of the changes I made to the homepage of the BHH website. I changed colors as well as the layout of the type and photos.

The above is a screenshot of the new banners I created for the staff at BHH.
